Melissa’s childhood memories of roller skating to the Bee Gees by the ocean in Fernandina Beach have fueled her dedication to the skatepark project. Her love for the community and sport shines through. Melissa and her husband Shawn are cultivating their roles as the elders of their dreams in their blended family of 14, including 5 grandchildren. Melissa is thrilled to be contributing to the vision of a world-class skatepark while also nurturing her spiritual side.
